If you want to export the constituent data of a specific audience to a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, follow the steps below:
Go to the People>Audiences in the navigation bar. Find the name of audience you want to export, and click on the blue "sample" link next to that audience's count total in the People Matched column.
The Search Results page will provide you with every person in your emanager that matches the criteria of the audience. Go to the Actions button in the header toolbar and choose "Export this audience."
Select the checkboxes for any of the information you want to be included in the exported file. Some fields are automatically checked (emanager ID, OptIn, Email, First Name, Last Name) but you can add or remove any fields that you like. If you want to export the results of a survey, make sure to select the unique field(s) used.
Click the "Export" button at the top of the page to download a CSV file to your computer.
Pro-tip: Always, always, always, export the emanager ID (listed first as “id” and checked by default). If you want to re-import and match data to the proper constituent record, the emanager ID (which is 100% unique for each constituent) is the best way to do this and 100% accurate.
