When staff members leave your office, Account Owners should make those administrators inactive. But what if they still have mail assigned to them? Fireside CRM makes it super easy to identify inactive staff members on the My Mail page.
First, go over to the Filters, and click Assigned Staffer.
Once clicked, you should see a list of every person in your office who has assigned mail. By default, you should see "Me" checked as well as the Unbatched Mail count in the box to the right. If you see any staffers with (inactive) listed next to his or her name, that means mail is still assigned.
If you see a 0 listed in the box, that means this staff member only has Batched Mail assigned. Scroll down to the last filter on the page and switch the view from All Unbatched to All Batched.
Click on the checkbox next to the inactive staff member's name to see all of the mail still assigned.
You can reassign individual pieces of mail by clicking on the name of the constituent and then changing the Assigned Staffer dropdown under properties.
You also have the ability to mass reassign mail. Click the checkboxes next to the mail you want to reassign (or the checkbox at the top to select all). Then go to Actions>Modify Selected.
Scroll down to Assigned Staffer, choose the person to whom you want to reassign all of the selected mail, and click "Update."
